OVERVIEW

Winterfest is a 3v3 soccer tournament and Goalie Wars tournament presented by Warriors SC.  The 2025 event will take place on Saturday, December 27 at Oakland Yard Athletics in Waterford.

 

3v3 TOURNAMENT

Cost: $175/team

We plan to offer the following divisions in 2025:

- Youth (U8-U14)
- High School (U15-U18)
- Adult (Men, Women, Coed)

 

INFO: 3v3 is a fast-paced format played on small pitches with mini-goals, emphasizing skill and speed of play.  There are no GKs in the 3v3 format.  The maximum roster size for each team is 6 players.  Divisions will be separated by age and gender, though we reserve the right to combine age groups where necessary.

Cost: $60/entrant

We plan to offer the following divisions in 2025:

- Youth (U8-U14)
- High School (U15-U18)

 

INFO: Goalie Wars is an individual competition.  Divisions will be separated by age and gender, though we reserve the right to combine age groups where necessary.  Goalie Wars is a fast-paced, action-packed game, where goalkeepers compete 1v1 and try to score as many goals as possible while simultaneously defending their own goal.  Goalie Wars focuses on a player’s ability to serve the ball in various ways as well as  make saves.  Each keeper must stay on their side of the field and attempt to score on the other keeper using any allowable form of goalkeeper distribution.

LOCATION

Winterfest will be held at Oakland Yard in Waterford (5328 Highland Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48327) in both the South Dome and the North Dome.  Oakland Yard has a crumb-rubber turf surface; outdoor cleats, indoor cleats, and normal athletic shoes are acceptable.
